Nokia X2


Introduction
"Nokia X2" debuts Indian market as a much simpler and cheaper music centric phone that can attract young consumers.

Design
The Nokia X2 is a terminal type tablet phone with a simple design. The slim phone with sharp edges is available in two discrete colors: black and silver , combined with red lines and blue buttons. It weighs just 81 grams. You are facing a 2.2-inch TFT relatively small compared with that of its predecessors. The handset boasts of a conventional alphanumeric keyboard and a track pad that will help to access the menu options. The side buttons also work as shortcuts to control music or camera.

Multimedia
The Nokia X2 is specially designed for people who do not need a business phone. It is skilled in running multimedia tasks. It features a camera with five megapixel sensor and LED Flash that will allow us to take quality pictures. You can upload photos directly to services such as Ovi or Flickr for your family and friends. As for playback, the Nokia X2 is capable of supporting multiple audio files. It has stereo speakers and allows us to transfer music to computer applications such as Nokia Ovi PC Player or its own Windows Media Player 11. It plays in MP4 format. The user can store files in 48 MB internal memory, expandable with microSD cards up to 16GB.

Connectivity
The phone boasts quad-band connectivity with GPRS. For other connections, we must say it has Bluetooth with A2DP stereo audio profile and USB. Even so, it has direct access to Facebook and the Opera Mini browser. The users can download games and applications via the Ovi Store.

Cons
It lacks 3G and WLAN networks to browse the Internet at high speed.

Verdict
It is a plain and functional phone that stands for what it is. Mainly targeted at the music and imaging oriented young group, it is a great value for money.
